June at Kelim
The ‘June at Kelim’ summer choreography program, which opened in 2009, provides a supportive and nurturing framework for young choreographers. During the program, participants create a dance piece which they present in a closed showing for the group, guest choreographers, and the broader dance community. In addition, graduates of the full choreography program present what they have been working on during the year in a performance open to the public.
Graduates of the two-year choreography program who have shown their work in the ‘June at Kelim’ program have been accepted to dance festivals such as ‘Curtain Up’, ‘Room Dance’, ‘Between Heaven and Earth’, ‘Machol Shalem- MASH’ and others. The ‘June at Kelim’ summer program is an opportunity to see our graduates’ new dance pieces, in the place where they were created.
